A little how-to and tips & tricks to be proficient on our platform -
1. Make your own identity card! You need to make yourself known first to let others get to know you, so fill-in your profile details and add pictures to your profile. Go to your profile settings from your profile-placeholder > Profile
2. Under Community, the 'forum' section holds all the genre-based sections of posts by the members and Renaissance Digital, for example - the announcements section hosts all the important notices, here you can participate in fun trivia and artist-development activities, and so on.
3. In-contrast to forum-posts, there are editorials by Renaissance that push content that is more based on the magazine-issues and the podcasts. They are the 'blogs' and are basically the posts by solely the team of Renaissance Digital.
4. Put great detail and attention to your posts in the forum because you need to create that solid first impressions! Make your posts based on good text and equip them with relevant pictures to increase your engagement rates.
5. Maintain a collaborative and an open-mindset.
6. Always support other artists and provide constructive criticism wherever required.
7. If you find anything wrong report us via any of the contact-forms across the site.
8. If someone is troubling you or you see an offensive post, you can always report the post/user by accessing their post or profile.
9. Being nice and active will gain you perks like badges, discount-coupons and more; over time and activity! Sharing about us accelerates the process.
10. Got feedback or a grievance to share? Reach us back by sharing your thoughts and/or queries, here.
The Renaissance forum comes with a Member’s Area as well, where everyone can visit to see everyone who is in this community. Over there, you can visit your own profile and personalize your own profile page. You can also report people, if you need to do so; but abuse of this functionality can lead you getting a ban on yourself. That being said, we encourage everyone to be respectful, constructive and supportive to everyone in this community.
When visitors sign up as members; they can join conversations, follow posts, upload media, leave comments, and be notified of any new activity in discussions they’re following.
You as a member can add new posts, write comments, and engage on others' posts. Start by making an introductory post about yourself by talking about yourself with your picture, IMs and about your journey so far. your future goals alongwith your aspirations. You can begin here.
